Our Approach

Who are We?

O.A.S.I.S. (Older Adult Services in Stanly) was created to provide assistance to older adults who reside in Stanly County.

Services are offered by volunteers who register to work with the program primarily through the church they attend.

Any Stanly County resident who is at least 60 years old is eligible to receive services.  O.A.S.I.S. does  not discriminate on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, sex, national origin, socioeconomic status, or religious preference.

Our Story

Our Story

O.A.S.I.S. was organized in May 1993 by a group of concerned citizens about the needs of the aging population in Stanly County.  A board of directors was formed and meets monthly to govern the organization.

Service requests from older adults have been accepted since January 1995.
